First of all i would like to say thank you to all of you for having be so nice with me. It has been a great pleasure for me to share my passion of games. I've had a lot of interesting discussion, and a lot of fun playing prototypes (never mind if it was mine or yours).
I have to say that i've been impressed by the global quality of all the prototypes i've seen and played. Italien designers are definitively at the best level (and i think that french and italian designers are very close in the way they designed games). Many of these prototypes could be published, for sure.
I haven't played all the games.And i don't want to disappoint the ones i've not played. But some of the games are still really present in my memory, and i would be happy to play them if they enter the market:
>> Francesco Sedda had an excellent party game about Talk Shaw. It was incredible to observe people playing this game. A lot of fun, for sure. I will forward a short movie of one game session to cocktail games in france. Hoping it can help…
>> Emiliano Venturini teached me is abstract game: ISAAC. And i was impressed, really. I like 2 players games, and i like abstract game. This one is at the best level. So simple to learn. So interesting to try to master. Since this we, i've made my own prototype, and i will show it to some publishers during next nurneberg and Cannes fair. It will be difficult, because publishers don't really like abtsract games, but i think there is something to do with this one.
>> Paolo Mori had also an excellent prototype. A card game with a kind of “bingo” drawing phase. Excellent. And so adapted to families AND gamers. I'vehad some ideas for this project and have send them to Paolo.
>> Walter show me a project of cooperation game. Theme is very close to the movie “armaggedon”. Nice project !! i'm quite sure that adding a “real time” pressure in this project could lead him directly to the shops
It was also a good way for me to playtest Conquistadores, a game i'm working on with serge laget. Many things have been tuned due to these test sessions.
And a lot of other things… Like the interesting discussion i've had with Vladaa, with the winning designer team of last archimedo's contest, with marco legato, and the smile of paoletta and tinuz, and and and.. too many things !!!
